Summer Garden Party was great success

On July 21 last, a day which was probably the finest of the whole summer, a garden party took place at Castle Bernard in Bandon in aid of Bandon Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber and the Glaslinn Ladies’ Choir. This was a garden party with a difference as the guests were treated to an afternoon of musical entertainment as well as enjoying the home baked delights that were on offer. The concert was a showcase of the musical talent that exists in the Bandon and general West Cork area.

During the afternoon Frin Carter also kindly gave a very informative and interesting tour of Castle Bernard.

The organisers would like to thank the Carter family for their warm hospitality, the musicians and performers who gave of their time so generously, all those who worked behind the scenes to make the garden party a success and the guests who supported the event in large numbers.
